Wulu 五鹿 was a leader among the Black Mountain Bandits. “Wulu” is a nickname, meaning “Five Deer”. His first and only mention comes in 184, when the Black Mountain Bandits were formed around the time of the Yellow Turban Rebellion.
While many of his fellow bandits were killed by Yuan Shao 袁紹 in 193 in several skirmishes, Wulu is not mentioned in these.

- Wulu 五鹿 can also be used as a double-character surname (such as Wulu Chongcong). In the case of the Black Mountain bandit it does seem to be a nickname and not a surname.
