Hulao Pass (Hǔláo guān 虎牢關) was a pass to the capital city Luoyang. In Romance of the Three Kingdoms it was named as a seperate place from Sishui Pass (Sìshuǐ guān 汜水關), however historically they were one and the same pass. The main name of the pass was Hulao Pass, but throughout the years it had held different names such as Wulao Pass (Wǔláo guān 武牢關) and Sishui Pass.
