Gongjin's Campaign Memorials

Gustav Haloun was a sinologist and professor at the Cambridge University in England. He was born in Czechia and taught at Prague University (1926-1927), Halle University (1928-1931), and Göttingen University (1931-1938), before becoming Professor of Chinese at Cambridge University.

Works[]

Haloun researched about the Hundred Schools of Thought, Bactria, Da Yuezhi, and Guanzi texts. All his works are kept at the Cambridge University's library.

in 1949 Haloun wrote an article about the Liang Province Rebellion, called The Liang-Chou Rebellion, to this day still one of few documents about the Liang rebels.
