Guangzong 廣宗 was a city in Julu commandery 鉅鹿郡 in Ji province 冀州.

Guangzong during Later Han and Three KingdomsEdit

In 184 A.D. the city of Guangzong was taken over by the Yellow Turban Rebels. Julu commandery, and especially the city of Xiaquyang 下曲陽, served as the headquarters of the Zhang brothers, leaders of the rebels.[1]

Guangzong lay south and slighly east of Xiaquyang and probably served somewhat as a defensive city of Xiaquyang as the Han forces approached Julu from the south.
