Dynasty Warriors (真・三國無双 Shin Sangokumusō, lit. "True - Unrivaled Three Kingdoms") is a series of hack & slash videogames created by Omega Force and Koei and distributed by Tecmo Koei. It is based on Luo Guanzhong's famous novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

The first game in the series was released in 1997 on the Sony PlayStation as a fighting game, called Sangokumusō 三國無双 in Japan. When the sequel came out in Japan the name was changed (slightly) into Shin Sangokumusō 真・三國無双. In western countries the name has always been Dynasty Warriors.
