Gongjin's Campaign Memorials

Cao Pi 曹丕 was the founder of the Wei dynasty. He was the son of warlord Cao Cao. Like his father, Cao Pi was talented in both civil and military matters, though he tended to focus on the former more. In 220, he accepted the abdication of the Han, ending nearly 400 years of rule by the dynasty. Under Cao Pi's reign, the Nine Rank System was implemented and he also decreased the military power of the princes. Cao Pi reigned for almost six years before he died of illness.
